Incredible Range of Connectivity

As part of Midas' incredible M32 system, the DL32 boasts an immense array of connectivity. For example, two DL32 stage boxes can be cascaded using the device's built-in AES50 ports, allowing you to make use of up to 64 mic/line inputs as well as 32 balanced outputs. The DL32 also features an ULTRANET port that allows you to directly connect to Turbosound iQ Series loudspeakers, as well as Behringer's Powerplay P-16 Personal Monitoring System, opening up the capacity to feed up to 48 individual monitor mixers. On top of all of this, the stage box also features two opical ADAT sockets and AES-3 (AES/EBU) for connecting up to outboard devices, MIDI I/Os, and a handy USB port for system updates. With such a vast range of expandable connectivity options, the DL32 can instantly form the basis of a sophisticated front-of-house or monitoring system with the capability to interface with a huge range of equipment with ease.

 

Seamless ULTRANET Integration

Combining the expertise of a multitude of world-class companies, ULTRANET has been created to deliver a revolutionary workflow system for live performance and studio applications. ULTRANET allows you to transmit up to 16 channels of 24-bit digital audio over a CAT5 cable to ULTRANET-compatible devices in your rig. These devices include mixers, I/O stage boxes (including the DL32), active speakers, and personal monitoring systems.

 

ULTRANET offers a significant amount of advantages of traditional analogue systems, including complete protection from radio frequency interference, elimination of signal crosstalk, and incredibly intuitive operation. It allows you to save time setting up, whilst maintaining incredible sound quality and performance.
